Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Engineering/ Masters in English, Social Science, Economics, Anthropology, Business Administration, or any other relevant subject from any renowned public or private university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To contribute to implementing UCEP Bangladesh's values, vision, mission and goals, and development of future strategy documents as needed.
∎ To support in designing, developing, analyze, and conducting the Skills Development, Migration, Employment and Entrepreneurship Development programs of UCEP Bangladesh. Identify areas of improvement and provide necessary guidance for improvement.
∎ Engage and coordinate with technical and management teams of the project as necessary
∎ Develop strategies and operational guidelines for effective and efficient implementation of the project
∎ Develop and implement communication strategy and work plan; monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) plan; and staff capacity building planning, coordinating, and facilitating for the project
∎ Guide and supervise the work of the Field Coordinators and project team
∎ Undertaking regular monitoring activities and follow-up measures
∎ To support the developing of CS, CBLM, CSLB and other necessary training and learning materials.
∎ To support facilitating events and workshops with relevant personnel from BTEB, NSDC/NSDA, industry, ISC, training institutes and others for developing curricula and module for TVET and Skills Development programs.
∎ To assist in developing and maintaining program related partnerships.
∎ To host various visits of donors, government, and other bodies relevant for TVET and skills development programs as well as private sector engagement.
∎ To provide inputs for developing the organizational strategy, project proposal, business plan, business goals and other documents.
∎ To contribute to prepare budget of programs and guide its effective and efficient implementation.
∎ To prepare various reports required for the programs, donors, and other purpose of the organization.
∎ To represent UCEP Bangladesh in various TVET, Skills Development, Migrations, Employment and Entrepreneurship Development programs related forums and share the learning with others in the organization under the guidance of supervisor.
∎ Promote and contribute to ongoing efforts towards gender equity & equality, child/staff protection & safeguard, inclusiveness, accessibility and discrimination free environment in the workplace and operations/ activities/ plans. In applicable cases, ensure that necessary budget allocation is there and in KPIs these issues are reflected regarding employees under supervision.
∎ To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the authority as and when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ 4 years of relevant professional experience in NGO/INGO including at least 2 years in TVET, Skills, Livelihood, Migrations and Employment sector specialist role.
∎ Excellent command on communication skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Excellent computer operating skill & conversant with MS Office package.
∎ Self-motivated, adaptable, team player and passion for social development works.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel.
∎ Age limit for the applicant would be maximum 35 years.
∎ Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
