Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate the identification of potential local market actors.
∎ Participate in intervention designing and work with private sector actors for sustainable business linkage creation.
∎ Responsible for executing activities that strengthen good linkages between market actors.
∎ Responsible for the coordination, consultation, establishment in conducting market assessment validation and activities planning workshop which will involve all key stakeholders.
∎ Develop and tests tools for monitoring and measuring indicators, milestones and plans in close collaboration with supervisor and M&E team, and solely responsible for monitoring and reporting all output, outcome and impact indicators for respective market system(s).
∎ Ensure the program captures and responds to up-to-date information about market developments within respective market systems and global best practices for Markets Systems Development.
∎ Develop partners’ MoUs and contracts and extend support for timely deliverable;
∎ Assist Project Manager to design and deliver training to build the capacity of the project partners and stakeholders.
∎ Builds and maintains close relationships with key government stakeholders.
∎ Develop periodic reports and share with his/her supervisor and other team members and stakeholders.
∎ Engage in regular field visits to assess the activities implementation progress, give technical advises/mentor and provide feedback(s) for further improvement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Minimum of 3 years’ experience in private sector and/or INGO, NGOs working focused on MSD (program coordination, facilitation, providing technical supports), agribusiness and/or financial services.
∎ Good understanding on the Market System Development approach and Markets development facilitation including coaching, relationship building, communicating, entrepreneurialism/ business understanding and innovating.
∎ Experience of developing and successfully implementing departmental work plans to accomplish organizational objectives.
∎ Experience of procurement.
∎ Proven experience in reviewing, monitoring and evaluating programmes, using quantitative and qualitative methods and approaches.
∎ A track record of capacity building, and promoting learning and development activities, including delivering training and coaching to staff.
∎ Substantial experience in managing resources and external relationships with a range of people and organizations, including promoting effective partnerships.
∎ Technical competence in project development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
∎ Knowledge of business development and resource management.
∎ IT literate with demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
∎ Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of local language will be desirable.
∎ Strong people and team management skills including managing people at a distance.
∎ Good networking, influencing and negotiation skills.
∎ Willingness and availability to travel remote programmatic sites within the country and overseas.
Salary: Tk. 65000 - 70000 (Monthly)
