Job Context:
∎ Location: Based in Ramu team office under CARE Cox`s Bazar field office
∎ Duration: Duration of the Contract will be up to April 30, 2021
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibility #1: Arrange timely payments for Cash for Work participants and Volunteers:
∎ Ensure all supporting documentation is complete and correct before verifying and processing payment.
∎ Conduct regular monitoring and spot checks of program implementation to verify work aligns with payment requests.
∎ Monitor daily attendance of participants and ensure quality of activities are in line with program expectations.
∎ Liaise with Finance to arrange payment schedules through the approved mechanism.
∎ Travel to areas of work (community to community) to ensure payments are timely and properly conducted.
∎ Ensure the quality of cash or voucher distribution processes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 years' experience in accountancy / financial management.
∎ Experience making payments, particularly to Cash for Work / Volunteer labourers.
∎ Strong safety and security awareness.
∎ Sound knowledge of Finance and Administration policies.
∎ Proficiency in computer skills including financial software.
∎ Good understanding of MS Office applications.
∎ Good communication skills in Bangla and English.
