Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Social Sciences, DRM, or another relevant subject or equivalent field experience. Preference will be given for postgraduate degree in Disaster Management, Environment/Climate Change, Social Science, Sociology etc.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Location: Ukhiya Team office under Cox’s Bazar Regional Office
∎ Duration: Duration of the Contract will be up to March 31, 2022 with possibility of Extension
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in project management in community based disaster risk reduction, climate change, governance, institutional capacity building etc. projects.
∎ Experience in budget management of multi-year grants ensuring donor compliance.
∎ Demonstrated capacity to work with teams, partners and other organizations to facilitate learning and knowledge development.
∎ Experience in developing strong stakeholder relations with Local government, administration and civil society actors.
∎ Experience of using gender and women empowerment as cross cutting approach in development, DRR and governance projects.
∎ Strong communication, report writing and presentation skills both in Bangla and English.
∎ Experience in participatory development approaches including participatory planning, monitoring and evaluation.
