Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA or Post graduate degree in Environmental Science/ Geography and Environment or similar from any recognized university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ PM is responsible for planning, executing, controlling and monitoring all activities as per project design.
∎ Lead and guide the project team so that project targets are achieved timely with quality.
∎ Ensure compliance of all policies and guidelines of NDP and donors in implementing the project.
∎ Maintain regular communication with line management and PKSF for implementing the day to day project activities.
∎ Mobilization of community, beneficiaries and local stakeholders to ensure required support in implementing the project.
∎ Maintain proper communication and coordination with NDP MFP and all stakeholders and line departments to ensure required support for proper implementation of the project.
∎ Responsible for supervision and monitoring of project staff on regular basis.
∎ Regular field visit to ensure sustainable environmental practices at ME level.
∎ Prepare reports for the NDP, PKSF, government and other stakeholders on regular basis.
∎ Ensure quality of project implementation and establish a strong accountability mechanism.
∎ Responsible for ensuring daily and monthly reporting, maintaining of all records, registers and document in a systematic manner.
∎ Financial management of the project and support to submit financial reports as per organizational and donor’s demand.
∎ Responsible for organizing project inception meeting, staff meeting and meeting, workshops and seminars with various stakeholders.
∎ Support to fill up ME profiles, check ME profiles and to ensure proper documentation.
∎ Support to establish village milk collection center, demonstration of modern and environment friendly sweetmeat processor/shop, transfer of various technologies to entrepreneurs, etc.
∎ Responsible to organize various trainings including eco-friendly dairy management, environment management, LSP, diversified product and online marketing, waste management feed & feeding, fodder production & silage, etc. and preparation of training reports.
∎ Responsible for organizing training /workshop on certification /farm registration; environmental certification; business certification, trade license, etc. and preparation of events reports.
∎ Responsible to promote use of modern machineries (milking machine, cream separation machine, ice cream making machine, homemade ghee making machine, homemade cheese made machine, etc) in the selected project area to increase production and marketing of dairy products at premium markets.
∎ Responsible for developing entrepreneurs on commercial vermin compost production & marketing; supply safe cattle feed, vatenary pharmacy, Paravet; dairy brand shop development; high yielding fodder production and marketing, etc.
∎ Responsible for demonstration of eco-friendly cow comfort shed for Pabna breed, branding of grass-feed Deshi Cow milk and cross breed cow milk, milk cream, high value cheese production (cottage, liquid, Shreded Mozerella, Ricotra etc).
∎ Take appropriate steps to development website and apps; online / e-marketing and branding (of home made cheese, curd, ghee, bio-yogurt grass feed milk, grass-feed ghee, etc) to premium markets.
∎ Organize environment/ livestock fair, awareness raising sessions, publication of leaflet/ disease calendar/ vaccination schedule, etc.
∎ Documentation of project activities including video documentary (teaser, document, etc) and outputs, outcomes and results of the project.
∎ Support to develop environment forum and take effective steps to take environmental initiatives by the beneficiaries.
∎ Support to conduction baseline survey, development data collection tools and collection, analysis of data related to field activities of the project.
∎ Generate new ideas for the development and promotion for the dairy business cluster.
∎ Support to Micro Finance Branch to disburse loan to reach target.
∎ The Project Manager will be responsible for any other duties deemed appropriate.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 42 years
∎ Minimum 5 years managerial experience. Candidate with environment-oriented managerial experience will be given preference
∎ Working experience senior level project management
∎ Commitment towards working for the dairy sub sector development.
∎ Having computer knowledge MS word
∎ Having valid driving license
Salary:
∎ 55,000/= including all (in 3 months probationary period). After the ending of probationary period will be provide others benefits as per project budget.
