Educational Requirements:
∎ A relevant tertiary qualification, such as a Masters in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing or related studies with specialized study in Market Systems Development or relevant field.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the project and coordinate with the project offices and MABCO management in planning, implementation, and monitoring of the interventions.
∎ Draft and/or review scope of work to hire and manage technical consultants, including review for technical efficacy and contract budget.
∎ Facilitate to conduct Labor Market Assessment to assess the selected sector including sub-sector considering sector mapping, sector dynamics, functions, opportunities, key constrains and potential solutions for business development within the clusters and identify the possible service solutions considering demand supply characteristics for the project interventions.
∎ Provide technical facilitation support in the area of responsibilities for MSD activities to ensure the planned activists are implemented timely and with required deliverable quality.
∎ Develop interventions implementation detailed plan in close collaboration with the identified implementing partners.
∎ Create and maintain effective working relationships?with private and public sector players?that foster collaborative learning.
∎ Develop long/short-term strategies and its implementation linkages creation between market actors (i.e., training providers, technology providers, inputs suppliers, producers, traders, processors, cooperatives, financial service providers)
∎ Facilitate and coordinates markets systems assessment, organizing validation workshops and stakeholder platforms/events.
∎ Familiarity with the issues affecting the private sector in Bangladesh skill market as well as international trends in business and the economy.?
∎ Initiate and support the procurement committee to ensure procurement on time.
∎ Train and provide mentoring to the teams working with her or him/project staff to acquire knowledge and key tools in market systems development and facilitation approach with the objectives to increase their capacities in program implementation effectiveness.
∎ Provide capacity building training to market actors/partners on the MSD approaches, identification of the market system opportunities/constraints through conducting continues system analysis, develop approaches/modalities.
∎ Assist team members with information, tools and resources to improve performance & reach objectives.
∎ Engage in regular field visits to assess the activities implementation progress, give technical advises/mentor and provide feedback(s) for further improvement.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Minimum Five years of expert-level experience working in related field or other international donor-funded programs/INGO/NGO/Private sector delivering Market Systems Development (MSD) programs and analyzing market systems and designing and implementing strategies/ interventions that apply globally recognized approaches and tools, including partnering with the private sector, to facilitate inclusive and sustainable?market systems improvements.
∎ Previous experience in working with Government agencies, NGOs and providing support to partners.
∎ Experience of developing and successfully implementing departmental work plans and budgets to accomplish project’s objectives.
∎ Experience of procurement.
∎ Proven experience in reviewing, monitoring and evaluating programmes, using quantitative and qualitative methods and approaches.
∎ Proven experience of leading, managing and supervising a diverse programme team including distance management.
∎ A track record of capacity building, and promoting learning and development activities, including delivering training and coaching to staff.
∎ Substantial experience in managing resources and external relationships with a range of people and organizations, including promoting effective partnerships.
∎ Demonstrable experience of successfully growing funding from institutional donors, including EC, ECHO, UN and DFID.
∎ Demonstrable experience of developing quality proposals and Project Completion Reporting with impact assessment, for a variety of donors.
∎ Technical competence in needs assessments and report writing in English.
∎ Technical competence in project development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
∎ Knowledge of business development and resource management.
∎ IT literate with demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of local language will be desirable.
∎ Strong people and team management skills including managing people at a distance.
∎ Good networking, influencing and negotiation skills.
∎ Willingness and availability to travel remote programmatic sites within the country and overseas.

Salary: Tk. 115000 - 120000 (Monthly)
