Must-Have:
5+ years of experience in a project, program, producer, or delivery role specifically within a UX, design, or research team.
Proven experience planning and allocating capacity across both designers and researchers, based on real, ongoing availability·
A track record of owning delivery end to end and holding to the dates you commit to, including comfort having hard conversations about delays before they become a surprise.
Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable acting as the bridge between a design and research team and non design stakeholders.
Experience running structured feedback or review cycles for design or research work, and turning scattered input into a clear, prioritized set of actions.
Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with Design Operations, or DesignOps, as a practice or framework
Experience partnering with or supporting a user research function specifically, not just design
Comfortable building simple scorecards, trackers, or dashboards from scratch
Tools You Will Use
Jira or similar for tracking projects
Figma for design review
Spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets for reporting
Responsibilities & Context:
Turn a rough idea into a clear, written scope, defining what is in, what is out, and what "done" looks like for both design and research work
Plan and allocate capacity across both researchers and designers based on real availability, and rebalance the plan whenever priorities shift
Drive delivery from kickoff to final handoff, running the regular check ins and reviews that keep design and research work moving
Act as the main bridge between the design and research team and business stakeholders, setting realistic delivery dates and holding the team to them
Run structured feedback and review cycles so design and research work gets useful input at the right time, without turning into never ending rounds of comments
Spot delays and workflow bottlenecks early, raise them before they become a surprise, and keep a clear record of what is delayed, why, and what happens next
Build simple, clear tracking systems or dashboards that turn scope, capacity, delivery, and delay status into a report stakeholders can actually use
