Pre-Commissioning & Tendering

• Estimation & Costing: Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment. Analyze site conditions to factor in logistical risks.
• BOQ (Bill of Quantities): Develop and verify comprehensive BOQs based on technical drawings and specifications.
• Tender Management: Manage the full tendering process, including technical bid evaluations, attending pre-bid meetings, and preparing competitive proposal documents.

Project Planning & Execution

• Integrated Project Scheduling: Create and maintain Master Project Schedules (using MS Project or Primavera) that align Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical workstreams.
• Resource Management: Oversee the mobilization of manpower, machinery, and subcontractors to ensure zero downtime.
• Technical Supervision: Ensure all construction and installation work adheres to approved "Issued for Construction" (IFC) drawings and international quality standards.
• Procurement Oversight: Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure long-lead items (like heavy machinery or electrical switchgear) arrive according to the project timeline.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Primary Point of Contact: Act as the face of the company in all client interactions, ensuring expectations are managed and met.
• Reporting: Facilitate weekly and monthly progress meetings. Provide transparent reporting on project milestones, Earned Value (EV), and potential delays.
• Change Management: Negotiate and document "Variation Orders" (VOs) or extra claims with the client to protect company margins.

Quality, Safety, and Compliance

• HSE Standards: Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment protocols across the site to achieve "Zero Harm" targets.
• QA/QC: Ensure all tests (e.g., NDT for mechanical, cube tests for civil, insulation tests for electrical) are documented and approved by the client’s representative.
