Additional Requirements:
  • Age 45 to 90 years
  • Minimum 25 years of professional experience in: Engineering Consultancy Services, Construction supervision and project management.

  • Proven experience as Team Leader for high-rise/ Mega building projects at least 08 years.

  • Successfully completed at least Three (03) high-rise green building projects, Demonstrated experience in achieving: LEED Gold and/or Platinum Certification advantage. EDGE Expert, BREEAM Assessor, LEED, EDGE, CASEBEEWELL AP, or equivalent certificate will be considered an advantage.

  • Practical experience in: Coordinating third-party inspections Managing certification documentation and audits.



Responsibilities & Context:

Innovate Engineering and Development (IED), a reputed multidisciplinary engineering consultancy firm with extensive experience in large-scale national and international infrastructure development projects, invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Team Leader as a Full-Time, Contractual Expert. The selected candidate will lead and manage the consultant team to project management and construction supervision consultancy services for a high-profile high-rise and infrastructure development project, in accordance with the Prime Contract executed with the Client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership and act as the Team Leader for consultancy services, ensuring full compliance with the Prime Contract and Client requirements.
  • Manage, coordinate, and supervise construction activities, ensuring that all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, applicable codes, and international standards.
  • Lead the Consultant’s multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective deployment of resources, clear task allocation, and coordinated delivery of supervision services.
  • Review and approve contractors’ method statements, shop drawings, material submissions, and work programs to ensure compliance with design intent, quality standards, and sustainability objectives.
  • Maintain strict quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures throughout construction, ensuring workmanship and materials meet approved standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and coordination meetings to monitor construction progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental requirements.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve architectural, structural, MEP, and sustainability-related issues arising during construction, providing timely and technically sound solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with green building requirements and sustainability commitments during construction, safeguarding certification objectives.
  • Monitor construction schedules and milestones, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective measures in coordination with the Client and Contractor.
  • Review and certify contractors’ interim payment applications, variation proposals, and claims in accordance with the contract provisions.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the Client, Contractor, and all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely decision-making.
  • Oversee implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) measures at site in line with statutory and project-specific requirements.
  • Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to the Client, covering construction status, quality issues, risks, and mitigation measures.
  • Ensure that construction works are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual, technical, and sustainability requirements.
