SwingPhi builds market intelligence software for trade surveillance and compliance teams operating under real regulatory pressure. We design automated workflows that monitor trading activity, apply rule-based and AI-assisted detection, and surface clear, explainable signals for human analysts.

We are not building dashboards for show. Our systems reduce alert noise, accelerate investigations, and integrate directly into how trade desks and compliance teams actually operate. The product sits at the intersection of real-time data, regulatory logic, and analyst-first UI/UX.

Frontend Engineering

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript

• Experience building complex, data-driven interfaces with React or a modern framework (Next.js, Vue, Angular)

• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive layout principles

• Experience managing complex application state (Redux, Context API, or similar)

• Ability to design and implement workflow-oriented UIs that consume REST APIs

Backend Engineering

• Strong experience with Python in production environments

• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask

• Design and implementation of RESTful APIs supporting internal tools and analyst workflows

• Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)

• Working knowledge of asynchronous programming and background task processing

Data & Systems

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL

• Familiarity with Redis or MongoDB for caching or event/state storage

• Database schema design with a focus on auditability and traceability

• Query optimization for read-heavy and analytical workloads

DevOps & Engineering Practices

• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows

• Experience containerizing services using Docker

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

• Experience deploying and operating services on AWS, GCP, or Azure

Relevant Background (Nice to Have)

• Experience building internal tools or analyst-facing platforms

• Exposure to financial markets, trading systems, or compliance tooling

• Familiarity with rule engines, alerting systems, or investigative workflows

• Comfort working in regulated or high-reliability environments

Requirements

• Senior or Staff-level Software Engineer

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering (we will look at GitHubs, etc)

• Proven ability to own systems end-to-end and operate in production environments

• Performance bonus

• Up to 25% performance-based bonus tied to company revenue milestones
