• Should have a MA./MSc/MSS, M.Com but for highly potential candidate the educational qualification may be relaxed.

• 7 to 12 years

• Age 40 to 50 years

• The applicants worked in management position and considerable idea on NGO and development including on different development issues and good at communication.

• Minimum five (7) years of working experience in program management (only full-time work experience after graduation will be considered) and well versed on planning and management of development projects.

• Good knowledge on Monitoring, Evaluation, Supervision, Team Leadership, Budgeting, Financial management and perception on accounting, Documentation, Problem Solving,

• Idea on Project Management Software (such as Trello) and data management.

• Good at computer application such as Excel and use of data base.

• Fluency in spoken and written English

Background:

DoPeace a US based donor agency providing financial support to NGOs in Bangladesh to implement slum childrens education program. So, the project require the individual have expertise on Project Planning, Team Leadership, Budgeting, Performance Monitoring, Ensuing quality implementation, Documentation, Problem Solving, Project Management Software such as Trello and considerable idea on development issues. Again, should have idea on financial planning and management, accounting, data management, good at communication and computer application such as excel and data base. Further, speaking skill in Urdu, Hindi and English would be an added advantage.

The project manager will deal with the following duties and responsibilities:

• Project design and proposal writing,
• Team building, team management and leadership, problem solving
• Implementing programs like education and quality education, gender, livelihood, water and sanitation, women empowerment, education, health and hygiene, human rights, women rights and all other development program including emergency program.
• Well versed on education program management and quality implementation
• Financial planning and management as well as accounting,
• Performance Planning, Monitoring and performance development,
• Preparing various types of reports and documents including project document considering the timeframe
• Good at computer application and data base including idea on development of tools and techniques of data gathering,
• Training and capacity building of staff and participants.
• Project Management Software ( Trello).
• Experience on financial planning, management and accounting
• Preparing all kinds of document using computer and skilled on computer application such as excel and data base
• Good track record on accomplishment and completion of planning activities within the timeframe.
• Considerable idea on data collect, data compilation, analysis and data presentation.
• Apart from English Speaking skill, the ability to speak in Urdu and Hindi would be an added advantage for the position. Again, need to have Good communication skills.

Project Objectives:

• To recruit a staff who will be able to design project and writing different document including project design and proposal writing.
• To ensure proper management of the project specially the education project.
• To hire a Project Manager who will capable on Project Planning and management, Team Leadership, Financial planning and management, accounting, Performance Monitoring, Documentation on English and good at spoken English, Problem Solving, use project Management Software.
• To hire an individual has expertise on communication computer application such as excel and data base, data gathering and management and can speak in English, Urdu and Hindi.

Duration: The employee will initially be hired for a one-year term, it may be extended based on performance for uncertain period.  

• Monthly consolidated salary is BDT 35,000-45000 consolidated and negotiable
