Additional Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of software design principles, system architecture, SDLC, REST APIs, databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB), Git, Docker, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with modern development frameworks such as Laravel, NestJS, Next.js, Angular, or similar technologies.

Ability to develop scalable web applications and APIs, write clean and maintainable code, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills with a focus on quality and continuous learning.

• Adaptable, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software engineering, with expertise in system architecture, scalable solution design, and full software development lifecycle for enterprise applications.

Job Purpose: The role is responsible for supporting the design and development of scalable, high-performance software solutions aligned with business needs. Contribute to technical planning, architecture decisions, and technology selection to ensure robust and future-ready systems. Actively participate in development activities, delivering clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, quality assurance, and timely delivery of features. Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and reliability standards while continuously improving development practices.
Location: BRAC Head Office
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in software architecture design and contribute to the development of maintainable, scalable, and efficient systems.

• Write clean, efficient, and testable code for key components as part of the development team.

• Participate in code reviews, learn secure coding practices, and gradually take ownership of smaller modules.

• Support in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of applications.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (QA, UI/UX, Product, DevOps) to understand requirements and ensure alignment during implementation.

• Contribute to integrating third-party tools, APIs, and services as per project requirements.

• Assist in preparing unit and integration tests and ensure functional validation of modules.

• Document technical processes, contribute to project documentation, and share knowledge within the team.

• Stay updated with new tools, frameworks, and industry trends as part of continuous learning.

• Align deliverables with business objectives and customer expectations under supervision.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
