Experience:
Secondary School Certificate with practical working experience on solar system.
Strong technical knowledge in providing training on solar activities.
Work experience in Cox's Bazar is preferable.
Fluency in English and Bangla.
Knowledge of Rohingya/Chittagonian dialect is an asset.
Provide technical support for the installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar-powered water supply systems and other solar energy installations under the project.
Install, inspect, commission, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, solar pumping systems, mounting structures, batteries, charge controllers, inverters, electrical protection devices, and associated equipment.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance and periodic inspections of solar systems to ensure optimum performance and uninterrupted operation.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in solar-powered pumping systems and undertake timely corrective maintenance.
Monitor the performance and efficiency of solar-powered water supply systems and recommend technical improvements where necessary.
Support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical control panels, pumps, motors, cables, earthing systems, protection devices, and monitoring equipment associated with solar installations.
Assist Project Officers in conducting technical assessments, preparing repair plans, material estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BoQs) for solar-related works.
Supervise and provide technical guidance to solar technicians, electricians, Community-Based Volunteers (CBVs), and skilled workers during installation and maintenance activities.
Ensure all solar installations comply with approved engineering designs, electrical safety standards, technical specifications, and organizational quality requirements.
Conduct testing and commissioning of newly installed or rehabilitated solar-powered systems and verify operational performance.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, system performance, equipment servicing, spare parts utilization, and technical inspections.
Coordinate with Project Officers and Community Mobilization Supervisors to schedule preventive maintenance and respond promptly to reported system failures.
Support emergency restoration of solar-powered water supply systems following floods, cyclones, windstorms, or other emergencies.
Ensure proper handling, maintenance, calibration, and storage of electrical tools, testing equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
