Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Duty station: Dhaka with visit to project sites (if required)
∎ Reportable to: Country Director
∎ Contract Duration: 2 years with a possibility of extension depending on performance and availability of funds.
∎ Expected Joining Date: May 2025
∎ Working Hours: Full time (minimum of 40 hours per week)
∎ Note: This position is contingent upon the organization being awarded the project by the donor.
∎ While we are committed to identifying exceptional talent for this initiative, please note that formal employment contracts will be extended only if the proposal is successful, and the project is funded.

∎ In Bangladesh, SNV has over 10 years of experience in the water sector, working in urban areas and in close collaboration with the government agencies in national and local level. Also, SNV has been working with different stakeholders to set up PPPs with clearer rules of engagement and oversight to strengthen performance accountability by adopting a holistic approach to a sustainable urban water cycle.
∎ SNV is developing a planned project initiative for Bangladesh. This initiative seeks innovative approaches to scale up Nature-Based Solutions and green humanitarian assistance initiatives in high-risk regions to reduce disaster risk and maximize adaptation.
