Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ CDS is a leading NGO of the Southern coastal belt region, has been working since 2000 in Bangladesh for upgrading the wellbeing and rights of women and children, invites applications from qualified, committed and skilled candidates for the position of Project Facilitator (PF) for its ongoing Project "Strengthen Civil Society and Public Institutions to Build Community Resilience to Adapt Climate Change" funded by Manusher Jonno Foundation -MJF, Bangladesh. Only short listed candidates will be called for written & viva exam. The selected candidates will have to follow organization`s policies.
∎ Job Location: Tazumuddin Upazila, Bhola
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Organize beneficiary groups and mobilize them at field level;
∎ Conduct regular group meetings as per action plan & prepare groups targeting project outcomes;
∎ Develop monthly action plan and prepare monthly & quarterly reports;
∎ Assist PC & PO in developing quarterly action plan and prepare quarterly quality progress report to submit to the MJF;
∎ Assist PC & PO in maintaining strong liaison with Union Parishads & other project stakeholders at Local Govt. level;
∎ Develop & maintain good relation with Local Govt. Departments/Offices and Officials for making linkage of beneficiaries to access Govt. services;
∎ Motivating group members towards climate change adaptation activities & identify and mobilize potential group members to make them model to others on CCA activities;
∎ Organize project activities/events as per the direction of Project Coordinator;
∎ Assist PC & PO to ensure records & documentations of the project outcomes;
∎ Assist PC & PO in developing case story or case study;
∎ Maintain & update beneficiary profiles;
∎ Assist PC in maintaining liaison with project counterparts and stakeholders & local NGOs;
∎ Assist PC in developing guidelines, modules etc. for effective program implementation purposes;
∎ Support PC & PO to monitoring and evaluation process;
∎ Assist Accounts Officer (AO) on regular basis to ensure effective financial management ;
∎ Reporting the performance and achievements as per indicators on monthly basis ;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 4O year (s) (age can be flexible depending on experiences & women candidates);
∎ At least 05 (Five) years of working experience on relevant job;
∎ Knowledge & skills on community based Climate Change Adaptation -CCA, DRR, Gender, Women and Child & Human Rights program/project implementation will be an added value;
∎ Experience in networking, advocacy, and community mobilization;
∎ knowledge on Microsoft Office Application & Internet
∎ Strong report writing skills;
∎ Event organizing g skills and effective communication skills;
∎ Proven commitment and knowledge to gender & child protection issues;
∎ Ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholder and project beneficiaries;
∎ Willing to stay at project location;

Salary: Tk. 17737 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 7.5% yearly increment with festival bonus is equal to one month salary and other admissible benefits as per provision of Project.
