Education at Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

Year of Experience: 1-2 years' proven experience in teaching.

Gender: Female & Male. Female candidates will be given preference.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in English communication is a must

  • Solid understanding of pedagogy and effective teaching methodologies.

  • Able to conduct classes in the English language.

  • Familiarity with the English-Medium curriculum and their implementation.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on improving student learning outcomes.

  • Demonstrative ability to work with diverse and marginalized communities.

Job Location: Refugee camps in Teknaf & Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh.



Responsibilities & Context:

Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites applications for the Academic Support Assistant for implementing 'Education and Protection for Refugee Community (EPRC) Project' funded by UNHCR, located at Ukhiya & Teknaf Cox’s Bazar)

Position Title: Academic Support Assistant

Duration: 01 May 2026 to 30 June 2026. (Possibility of Extension)

Job Location: Ukhiya/Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar.

Safeguarding & PSEA:

  • S/he should abide by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)'s six core principles on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.

  • Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation.

  • Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
