Job Context:

We are looking for an experienced and competent Project Engineer (Civil) to supervise and manage real estate construction project activities at the site level. The selected candidate will be responsible for site supervision, quality control, project monitoring, contractor coordination, material verification, safety compliance, and technical coordination with consultants, architects, and management.

The candidate must have strong practical experience in high-rise residential building construction, RCC structural works, finishing works, MEP coordination, contractor supervision, and site execution.

Job Responsibilities

Site Supervision

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at assigned project sites.

• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project standards.

• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship quality, and daily productivity.

• Ensure proper execution of RCC works, masonry, plastering, finishing works, waterproofing, and other civil construction works.

Quality Control

• Ensure proper implementation of QA/QC procedures at the site.

• Inspect construction works regularly to maintain the required quality standards.

• Identify defects, poor workmanship, and non-compliance issues.

• Ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.

• Maintain inspection checklists and quality records.

Project Monitoring

• Monitor project progress according to approved schedules and work plans.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

• Coordinate with planning and project teams to minimize delays.

• Report project issues, progress status, and site requirements to management.

Material Management

• Verify construction materials as per approved specifications and quality standards.

• Monitor material usage and reduce wastage at site.

• Coordinate with the procurement/store department for timely material supply.

• Check material quantity, quality, and proper storage at the site.

Drawing & Technical Coordination

• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings before execution.

• Coordinate with consultants, architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and the project management team.

• Resolve site-related technical problems efficiently.

• Ensure execution works are aligned with approved drawings and technical instructions.

Contractor & Labor Management

• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams.

• Ensure work discipline, productivity, safety, and quality compliance.

• Monitor contractor work progress and contract requirements.

• Coordinate with contractors for the smooth execution of project activities.

Safety Compliance

• Ensure proper safety measures are followed at the site.

• Maintain compliance with company safety policies and labor safety regulations.

• Identify unsafe practices and take necessary preventive actions.

• Promote a safe working environment for all site personnel.

Client, Consultant & Authority Coordination

• Support management during client visits, consultant inspections, and authority inspections.

• Coordinate during project approvals, inspections, and handover activities.

• Ensure smooth communication among the site team, management, consultants, and contractors.

Documentation

• Maintain proper site records, measurement sheets, progress reports, inspection reports, and work checklists.

• Prepare and submit required reports to management on time.

• Maintain proper documentation for executed works, material verification, and site instructions.
