∎ Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Population Sciences, or related field·
∎ At least 5 years of experience in managing health-related projects, particularly SRHR in urban or factory settings·
∎ Experience working with garment sector stakeholders, including BGMEA and factory management, is an advantage·
∎ Strong coordination, communication, and facilitation skills·
∎ Familiarity with peer education models and mobile outreach service delivery·
∎ Proficiency in Bangla and English (written and verbal)·
∎ Willingness to be based in Gazipur and travel extensively as required

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan and facilitate coordination meetings with BGMEA and other key stakeholders·
∎ Organize orientation sessions with factory management and local community influencers·
∎ Lead regular meetings and training/refresher sessions with Peer Educators·
∎ Oversee the implementation of mobile SRHR services in garment factories·
∎ Convene collaboration meetings with local NGOs, service providers, and women’s networks·
∎ Ensure effective coordination and communication among all project actors·
∎ Monitor progress and collect data for reporting and documentation purposes·
∎ Contribute to report preparation and participate in review and planning processes
∎ Population Services and Training Center (PSTC) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of disadvantaged communities across Bangladesh. Registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB) and the Department of Social Services (DSS), PSTC is an Associate Member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF). With over 47 years of experience, PSTC delivers innovative and impactful programs in public health, SRHR, climate resilience, and social development.
∎ Project Overview: The Worker Rights and Wellbeing in Bangladesh project, supported by IPPF and LEVI’S, will be implemented from April 2025 to November 2026 in Gazipur. The initiative aims to increase access to SRHR services and strengthen health and rights awareness among garment factory workers through peer education, digital outreach, and mobile health services.
∎ Position Summary: The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overall planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities. This includes organizing orientation sessions with factory management and local influencers, facilitating coordination meetings with BGMEA, leading health talks and refresher trainings with Peer Educators, and strengthening partnerships with local NGOs and service providers. The Coordinator will ensure smooth delivery of mobile SRHR services and oversee communication and collaboration with all stakeholders to support the project's successful execution.
