Experience:
Master’s degree in Fisheries, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Marine Science, or a related field.
At least 7–10 years of experience in leading large-scale consortium-based projects, preferably in marine conservation or livelihood development.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and team-building skills.
Proven experience in working with multi-stakeholder partnerships, including NGOs, INGOs, government agencies, and donors.
Excellent communication and advocacy skills in English and Bangla.
Strong understanding of gender and social inclusion principles.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the project and ensuring its successful implementation. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Leadership and Coordination
Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Uttaran’s partners for effective project implementation.
Act as the primary point of contact for all partner members, ensuring alignment with project goals and donor requirements.
Facilitate regular partner meetings to review progress, address challenges, and plan activities.
Represent the partners in national and international forums, promoting the project’s objectives and outcomes.
Project Management
Oversee the development and execution of project work plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Monitor and evaluate project activities across all partners to ensure quality and impact.
Foster collaboration among partners to leverage expertise and resources.
Ensure compliance with donor regulations and organizational policies.
Reporting and Documentation
Prepare high-quality project reports, including progress updates, financial reports, and impact assessments, for submission to donors and stakeholders.
Ensure the proper documentation and sharing of lessons learned, best practices, and success stories.
Develop advocacy materials to highlight project achievements and influence policy discussions.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain effective relationships with government agencies, donors, private sector actors, and community representatives.
Advocate for policy and institutional changes to support the sustainable management of marine resources.
Promote gender equality and social inclusion in all aspects of the project.
Risk and Resource Management
Identify potential risks to the project and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of financial and human resources.
Support capacity building for partner members and field teams.
