Educational Qualifications:
Master’s degree in social science/ Gender Studies/ Development Studies, or a related subject.
Year of Experience: 4 years of proven experience in GBV prevention activities under UNHCR-funded programmes.
Mandatory Requirements:
Candidate required to be skilled in providing technical support and mentoring to MRM Officers, SASA! Together Officer, community monitors, volunteers, and documentation·
Proficiency in English and Chattogram dialect.·
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email).·
Flexible to move both the Ukhiya and Teknaf areas.

Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the Sr. Officer-MRM & SASA for implementing 'Education and Protection for Refugee Community (EPRC) Project' funded by UNHCR, located at Ukhiya & Teknaf Cox’s Bazar)
Position Title: Sr. Officer-MRM & SASA
Duration: 01 June 2026 to 31 December 2026.
C. 1. Key areas of Performance/ Responsibility/ Accountability:
Provide direct supervision and oversight to the MRM and SASA Officer to ensure high-quality delivery of activities on the ground. Verify activity data according to the register provided by colleagues from camps.
Provide supervision and ongoing training/ mentoring to community male role models for GBV prevention activities.
Assist in the translation and contextualization of any Modules, newsletters, Brochures, Case Stories, etc.
Provide direct technical and field-level support to Community Activists and Community Leaders, including regular visits to camps and blocks to build trust and maintain strong working relationships.
Lead and provide technical assistance to the SASA! Together programme, with a focus on institutional strengthening and organizational development.
Work with community stakeholders, community leaders, camp committees, and Imams to execute GBV Prevention interventions.
Prepare and submit regular work plans and progress reports for supervisor review and feedback.
Perform other administrative & logistics tasks like giving work orders and taking food orders, distribution of materials, etc.
Plan and implement activities for various Day Observances in alignment with program objectives.
Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Conduct training for Prevention Volunteers to strengthen their capacity in line with program requirements and ensure effective implementation of their assigned responsibilities in accordance with their approved Terms of Reference (ToR).
C:2 Reporting & Documentation
Ensure all meeting minutes/training resolution/reporting with indicator-wise activities in the respective camps.
Collect daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly data from colleagues, store properly and submit the data
Compile the Weekly & Monthly Report and submit to the supervisor
Prepare and submit monthly reports to the project office with the collaboration of Case and centre managers.
C: 3 Coordination & communication
Coordinate with stakeholders, including CIC and other NGO’s to enable and develop GBV programming in Camps.
Attend meetings on behalf of the GBV program as relevant or requested.
Maintain good communication with Govt. personnel and other working partner of the camp.
Maintain professional coordination and collaboration with HR, Finance, Logistics and Procurement team members.
Safeguarding & PSEA:
S/he should abide by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)'s six core principles on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.
Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation.
Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
