Responsible for:
Providing medical consultation and treatment for obstetric and gynecological patients
Managing both outpatient (OPD) and inpatient (admitted) patients
Performing Cesarean Section (C-Section) and assisting in obstetric and gynecological surgeries
Managing labor, delivery, and obstetric emergencies
Ensuring proper patient monitoring, treatment, and follow-up care
Activities:
Provide consultation and treatment to OPD patients with obstetric and gynecological conditions
Manage and monitor admitted patients in the Obstetrics & Gynecology department
Perform Cesarean Section (C-Section) and assist in other obstetric and gynecological surgical procedures when required
Attend and manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies promptly
Monitor labor and delivery cases and provide appropriate obstetric care
Conduct ward rounds and follow-up of admitted patients
Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other hospital departments for effective patient care
Ensure adherence to hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and ethical medical practices
Participate in hospital clinical meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement activities
Skill and Competencies:
Educational Qualification:
MBBS from a recognized medical institution
Valid BMDC registration
Minimum 1 year PGT (Post Graduate Training) in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Experience in managing obstetric and gynecological patients in hospital settings
Ability to independently perform Cesarean Section (C-Section)
Strong clinical knowledge in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Ability to manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies
Good decision-making and patient management skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies
