∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Minimum 10 years of working experience in NGOs or other Development Organization. Minimum 3 years of experience in coordinating large projects in the education sector, and have working experience with UN organizations.
∎ Proven experiences in team management and excellent trouble shooting capability.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bangla and English.
∎ Knowledge on local language will be an asset.
∎ Camp level working experience will be highly preferred.
∎ Basic computer skills on MS-Office.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is implementing ‘ECHO HIP’ Project supported by Save the Children. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF intends to recruit project staff from qualified candidates of Bangladeshi nationals.
∎ Job Responsibility:
∎ Overall Project coordination and management.
∎ Designing program and formulating plan for implementation of project activities.
∎ Implementing proposed activities and budgeting of the project in the field.
∎ Providing strategic support to technical and managerial staff.
∎ Liaison and coordination with stakeholders, camp management, donor SCI and relevant government agencies.
∎ Quality assurance of project and reporting.
∎ Making follow-up visit to the project areas in order to monitor program implementation and preparing feedback report.
∎ Analyze risks and opportunities of the project and take necessary measures.
∎ Oversee project procurement management and ensure value for money.
∎ Coordination with Education Sector in Cox’s Bazar.
∎ Have to ensure cooperation and strongly liaison with CIC, Site Management, Majhi and other Actors for implementing the Program in camp.
∎ Ensuring necessary support to subordinate staff in implementing project activities.
∎ Organizing monthly, quarterly and annual review meeting and preparing minutes.
∎ Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual activity report.
∎ Preparing Appraisal of Project Staff and submitting to Head of Education Program annually.
∎ Keeping necessary records and documents of the project.
∎ Follow the organization's Child Safeguarding, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Gender, and Whistle Blowing Policy.
∎ Maintain humanitarian national and international standards applicable.
