Job Context:
∎ The `Project Assistant-Education will be responsible for community level overall implementation of `Education Innovation` project at Rohingya camps and surrounding host people. He/she will be a mentor for Learning Facilitators/Community Volunteers to develop their capacity and also ensure the quality of deliverables. The assigned personnel will establish working relationship with CiC, Majhi and mobilize community people for project implementation with quality and community ownership.

∎ Work Location: Ukhiya/Teknaf (Refuge Camp)
∎ Reporting to:Project Officer - Community Mobilization & Capacity Building
∎ Contract Length: Up to March 31, 2020 (with possibility of extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Identify project location and beneficiary for education project implementation
∎ Support capacity building initiatives for Learning Facilitators/ Community Volunteers
∎ Daily follow up with Learning Facilitators/Community Volunteers to ensure quality learning sessions
∎ Ensure to carry the tablets from office to camp, daily distribution it to facilitators, tracking for utilization of tablets as 'Education Tool' and ensure taking return it to office
∎ Follow up with parents and caregivers to ensure child's regular participation into learning sessions
∎ Regular supervision of facilitators at field level for project service delivery
∎ Mobilize community partners and ensure their active engagement in project's cycle
∎ Facilitate awareness initiatives at camps and host
∎ Develop weekly/monthly work plan for Facilitators/ Volunteers
∎ Ensure quantitative and qualitative data as per MEAL requirement
∎ Identify field related challenges/gaps and develop alternative plan/s to mitigate the challenges/gaps
∎ Working relationship with social leader and Majhi to implement project successfully
∎ Assessing field level logistic needs and ensure logistic supply timely at field
∎ Any other relevant tasks assigned from management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Supervise facilitators/volunteers and ensuring children's enrollment, attendance in community learning spaces
∎ Coordinate community sensitization/mobilization meeting in the camp
∎ Ensure tablet distribution a return with safety
∎ Report any insecurity incidence timely to security focal person
∎ Basic understanding of formal and non-formal primary education
∎ on field level effective communication and basic skill on community mobilization
∎ Social skills with ability to work independently with minimum support from the team
∎ Familiarity and sensitivity with the Rohingya context: language, customs, etc.
∎ Basic computer Literacy on MS office
∎ Having ability to remain productive under difficult and high stressed situations in poor living opportunities
∎ Strong communications skill in both English and Bengali
∎ Proficiency in Chittagonian language is preferable

Salary: Tk. 36750 (Monthly)
