Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that the project office is properly resourced in terms of equipment, furniture and supplies.
∎ Manage all consultant recruitment and act as the focal point for all HR related issues.
∎ Manage all procurements of all services and goods as per the BC procurement policy.
∎ Work with the Community Resource Centres coordinators and facilitators for office set up in complained way.
∎ Ensure the Visa, passbooks, contracts, event management, supplies management etc. are done in time and efficiently.
∎ Frequent visits to the local offices and to make sure that these offices are operational with maintaining required guidelines.
∎ Ensure that there is appropriate transport provided for the project.
∎ Developing a programme management approach to property asset management and ensure the inventory list is up to-date.
∎ Manage admin vendors on a day-to-day basis including gardeners, cleaners, caterers, car hire implant and travel implant among others
∎ Liaise and work closely with relevant appointed supply partners to manage the mechanical and electrical services installation to include air conditioning, plumbing, generators and water supplies, transformers, fire, physical security and other related hard services to ensure that these are kept in good working order
∎ Liaise and work closely with relevant appointed supply partners to manage catering, cleaning, international couriers, grounds maintenance and other related customer services, so as to meet customer needs and expectations, meet the operating requirements of the British Council business in respective buildings and ensure that the services are managed and delivered according to relevant professional standards and statutory requirements, including health and safety legislation
∎ Act as a line manager for Programme Admin officer, Procurement Officer and IT officer.
∎ Manage UK staff visas, accommodation, heavy baggage and transportation etc.
∎ Contribute to the development of FM data management and records, via the British Council's corporate intranet, SharePoint sites and other information management initiatives as required.
∎ Maintain FM data on the operation of P4D premises in Bangladesh so that this is up-to-date, comprehensive and consistent with Global Estate's lease and property records.
∎ Support Programme Manager in HR, especially in recruiting various candidates for the project.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4-5 years' experience of working in a challenging administration and facilities environment in a large organisation spread across various locations.
∎ Experience managing HR and other recruitment related task.
∎ Experience of managing a team, and of holding team members accountable for their performance.
∎ Worked successfully in a role that required prioritisation of immediate and competing demands, while maintaining excellent customer service.
