Job Context:
∎ The position is responsible for the operational needs for host community program in Ukhiya, Ramu, Chakaria, Teknaf. The PSO will ensure all program support works within his/her area under the supervision with Senior Operations Manage. (S)He will be focal for all program operation support and will liaise with the program team and also with operations team based in Ukhiya/ Cox`s Bazar.
∎ Work Location: Ukhiya (but need to provide support at Ukhiya, Ramu, Chakoria, Teknaf)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ General Services/Facilities Management Activities:
∎ Ensure proper operational and program support in response to the program request and priorities.
∎ Ensure staff facility in field level and collect logistics requirement from field to deliver.
∎ Support to field offices and ensure stationary requirement.
∎ Ensure furniture, equipment for field staff and maintain functional with proper support to program area and facilities.
∎ Maintenance of office, furniture, secured stock, security equipment and systems etc. refill of first aid kits, fire extinguishers, oxygen cylinder etc.
∎ Manage all casual staffs, outsource service provider staffs (cleaner, technician and any casual volunteer/ labor).
∎ Overseeing renovation work if any to the premises / facilities.
∎ Manage and plan to dispatch of goods in the projects site of Ukhiya/ Ramu/ Chakaria/ Teknaf.
∎ Prepare Internal Delivery Note / Waybill / packing list etc.
∎ Responsible for documentation of all project report/ bill/ challan etc.
∎ Supply Chain Management Activities:
∎ Liaise with IRC procurement and operation unit for the follow up of the procurement of materials and the delivery to the field offices in a timely manner.
∎ Process advance and payment requests and initiative corrective action when necessary.
∎ Arrange office internal meeting and workshop and also external as per instruction of line manager.
∎ Responsible to maintain inventory of furniture and equipment (non-IT).
∎ Stock Management Activities:
∎ Manage office store, stationery and consumables with keep accurate record of supply incoming and dispatches for office.
∎ Management of the IN & OUT processes in the program resources.
∎ Ensure Stock folder is in place with all related documents.
∎ Prepare monthly stock and consumption report for non-medical stock.
∎ Field Support Activities:
∎ Assist to Senior Operation Manager to maintain field office control and efficiency.
∎ Day to day provide updated information to the Senior Operation Manager for external requests for support from the field.
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years of experience in Logistic/ Operation support
∎ Experience of working with UN Agencies or Non-Governmental Organizations
∎ Very good skills MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point
∎ Excellent interpersonal and team skills
∎ Dedications to humanitarian principles and values
∎ Dedications to and understanding of IRC's aims, values and principles
∎ People who have knowledge in Chittagonian language will get preference
Salary: Tk. 46350 - 48500 (Monthly)
