∎ Medical degree from a reputed Medical College; post graduate qualification will be an added benefit
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure that Friendship has defined standards/SOPs for all its services
∎ Ensure that all services are delivered according to these standards/SPOs
∎ Reporting to Team leader, Capacity Building
∎ Develop and implement ‘quality of care’ framework
∎ Assist in the development of a quality of care framework including standards/SOPs and instruments/tools for measuring these, guidelines for monitoring, follow up and reporting
∎ Help in implementing the quality of care framework and actively participate in it
∎ Maintain databases/records of quality assessments
∎ Prepare monthly or other reports as required; disseminate/share with key stakeholders
∎ Identify concerns highlighted by the QoC framework; coordinate and collaborate with relevant team in the health sector to implement recommendations
∎ Act as the ‘secretary’ of the Quality Management/Review team- ensure that meetings are held as per schedule, decisions are communicated, followed up and reported in the next meeting
∎ Draw up periodic quality audit/monitoring plans; implement those plans
∎ Train a Core Group for carrying out these audits/monitoring visits
∎ Facilitate the Core Group to carry out such visits
∎ Provide on the job training where possible, to service providers
∎ Building Friendship’s capacity to continuously improve quality
∎ Be up to date on latest best practices nationally as well as internationally
∎ Introduce new best practices into friendship’s programmes
∎ Collaborate with Training team to provide inputs into training needs assessment
∎ Provide on the job training to service providers during monitoring visits
∎ Reporting
∎ Provide inputs to and/or prepare organizational and donor reports
∎ Regularly review QoC visit reports and share as appropriate
∎ Actively participate in and foster team building across the entire health team
∎ Any other task delegated from time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Preference will be given to someone who has completed a Training of Trainers
∎ A good planner and organizer
∎ Good motivator and be able to provide inspiration and encouragement to field and hospital based teams
∎ Excellent coordinator, and able to coordinate activities with all the projects/programmes in Friendship
∎ Good communication skills- needs to be a good communicator with all the field/hospital teams; Fluency in English is preferred
∎ Ability to make quick decisions independently
∎ Must be flexible and adaptive; should be able to undertake frequent travels
