About the Project:

Career Hub powered by BRAC is a one-stop service centre that takes a 360-degree approach to tackling

skills and information gaps in the labour market. This is a comprehensive career development platform

designed to equip students and job seekers with essential skills, career guidance, and access to

employment opportunities. Through seminars, workshops, counseling, and employer engagement, the

Hub aims to bridge the gap between education and employment.

Job Purpose:

The Activation Officer at BRAC Career Hub plays a pivotal role in driving youth engagement through

event coordination, strategic outreach, and campus-based activations. This position is responsible for

mobilizing participants, strengthening university collaborations, and ensuring smooth onboarding and

communication processes for jobseekers and trainees across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Organize and facilitate on-campus and off-campus activation events, info sessions, and

recruitment drives.

● Engage unregistered youth to drive registrations through personalized follow-ups and

awareness activities.

● Coordinate onboarding sessions for registered participants, ensuring timely communication and

attendance.

● Maintain ongoing communication with both registered and referred participants to ensure high

conversion and engagement rates.

● Provide primary orientation to offline participants regarding Community Hub (CH) procedures,

expectations, and services.

● Collect, organize, and maintain CVs and participant profiles in coordination with the central

database team.

● Establish and maintain partnerships with university departments, career services, and student

clubs to increase outreach.

● Design and implement joint initiatives with academic institutions to support the career

development of students and graduates.

● Recruit, train, and guide campus ambassadors, Volunteer to support lead generation and event

coordination at the campus level

● Monitor ambassador activities and provide regular feedback and direction to ensure alignment

with Career Hub goals.

● Submit regular reports on participant engagement, event outcomes, and campus ambassador

performance.

● Assist in maintaining updated records of outreach activities and participant progress.

● An Activation Officer will be responsible for covering 8 to 10 districts to generate leads and

promote Career Hub services effectively.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the

organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation,

including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding

implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for

establishing a safe working environment.

● Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and

ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

● Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and

encourage others to do so.
