Educational Requirements:
∎ Master degree in Social Sciences preferably in Economics, Statistics, Sociology, Anthropology or relevant discipline

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure proper functioning of program Monitoring Evaluation Accountability Learning system according to MEAL plan,
∎ Track MEAL plans activities and update MEAL Plan as required
∎ Provide leadership, training and mentoring to develop or adapt MEAL Plans, tools, survey design, methodology, and data analysis to assess program impact.
∎ Facilitate the updating of the recording, reporting, supervision and monitoring tools, forms, formats, etc. in coordination with other team members
∎ Co-work with IT to develop and maintain SJ-eMIS systems to collect and analyze information on inputs, outputs, outcomes, and impact of the program
∎ Facilitate the development of on-site data verification/quality assessment methods for SJ ICDP
∎ Conduct field visits to assess program implementation, gaps identification and challenges
∎ Document and captureof promising learning, practices, challenges and success stories.
∎ Ensure indicators are aligned to program activities and strategies and reasonable targets are set for the project to achieve.
∎ Prepare and compile periodic reports (formative, narrative)
∎ Highlight program achievements and related activities
∎ Prepare and review other reports to meet different deadlines and project requirements
∎ Support team by providing updated information of project progress as per quarterly, and field visit reports, workshop and other source updates, etc.
∎ 70% field visit for ensuring/improving quality and disseminate the findings to wider team for follow up
∎ Prepare necessary reports and documentations (case study, factsheet etc.) in coordination with team members
∎ Assist to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual programmatic reports in coordination with SJ ICDP team
∎ Represent SJ ICDP in meeting/workshop/seminar/conference in different forums as required.
∎ Ready to work in any natural disaster (like eviction) or any other emergency situation
∎ Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
∎ Approachable, good listener, easy to talk to the wider audience.
∎ Internal: Program Manager, Program Officers, SJ ICDP staff
∎ External: Program Participants, Community Leaders, Community Members and other relevant stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At least two years' experience of working in NGOs in similar position
∎ Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; proficiency in SPSS will be an added advantage
∎ Knowledge and experience on basic statistics and research methodology, MIS and report writing.
∎ Knowledge and capacity of documentation
∎ Understanding of the situation of urban slum children in Bangladesh - problems and challenges
∎ Ability and willingness to travel widely in project areas
∎ Good spoken, reading and writing skills in English & Bangla
∎ Ability to work in a team with flexibility to undertake challenging task and adapt to different working conditions

Salary:
∎ Tk. 32,000 -Tk. 37,000 per month (depending on the experience and competence)
