Job Context:
∎ Project name: Combating Intimate Partner Violence in Bangladesh in the Context of COVID-19 project, based at Gazipur
∎ This Contract will be up to March 31, 2022
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibility # 1: Guide and facilitate quality implementation of the project activities through planning, monitoring and transforming the learning and recommendations into actions:
∎ Work closely with Team Leader and other team members for effective implementation of the overall project interventions
∎ Develop action plans for achieving the project objectives
∎ Monitor and track the progress/achievement of planned the activities
∎ Ensure proactive actions on addressing challenges in implementation
∎ Ensure necessary logistic support for timely implementation of planned activities
∎ Engender and assist team through innovative idea for community interventions, campaign considering COVID-19 pandemic situation.
∎ Assist in identifying effective project strategies
∎ Facilitate innovations, maintain flexibility, and ensure learning culture to examine best practices around sustainable women and girl's empowerment (both processes and outcomes).
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 years of experience in project planning and implementation preferably in the area of violence against women.
∎ Solid track record of working on violence against women particularly Intimate Partner Violence
∎ Sound knowledge of the economic, power dynamic, gender transformative approaches, political and social issues.
∎ Proven track record of work in remote areas with marginalized groups particularly women and girls
∎ Strong facilitation background including participatory training, community mobilization and SAA
∎ Ability to team building and can perform well under pressure
∎ Ability to coordinate with counterparts and other stakeholders
∎ Good communication skill in both verbal and written in Bangla and English.
∎ Skills on budget preparation and monitoring
