Job Context:
∎ Association for Land Reform and Development (ALRD) is a right based National Policy Advocacy and Networking Organization going to recruit following positions under three years nine months project ( From January 2022 to September 2025) titled: an Equal Stake in Soil: Building Women`s Land Rights from Ground Up.
∎ The overall responsibility of the PO- RM position is to assist Country co-coordinator in achieving goal and objective of the project. PO RM is to plan, design the (MEL)- Monitoring, Learning Evaluation and produce reports following the given format. The MEL Plan is intended to focus, coordinate, and enhance the rigor/systematization of project`s MEL process along the broad project theory of change and ensure accountability. The MEL Plan will focus on the activities to enhance the coordination and capacities of women-led CSOs to advocate for Women`s Land Rights-WLR and project outcomes of advocacy activities, increased social understanding of and support for WLR, and enabling community-based programs to more directly address the social norms and knowledge gaps that impede WLR.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning, Reporting and Information Management:
∎ Prepare yearly/six monthly MEAL plans with the assistance of concerned person(s).
∎ Facilitate to develop different technical format/tools relating to program monitoring and program operational plan for quarterly and monthly.
∎ Regular coordination with Project Country Coordinator and ensures valid data/information collected for donor reporting.
∎ Standardize how indicators are collected and reported, strengthen capacity and analyze project data for assessing the progress/result/trends.
∎ Share monitoring findings with the country project coordinator and others according to protocol related to Complaints, Feedback and Response.
∎ Monitoring:
∎ Prepare "Most significant change story/ success story/case study" collection.
∎ Visit working areas for ensuring quality of the field level activities in trams of process and progress monitoring, provide feedback to concerned project and prepare monitoring report.
∎ Tracking progress of Indicators and Activities compare to operational targets
∎ Learning:
∎ Assist for information dissemination to the community, developing Accountability tools also conducting Assessment Learning.
∎ Take a leading role in capturing learning through review field notes, conducting learning assessments, and facilitating workshops for capturing learning.
∎ Prepare learning report and communicate with Project partners, Project Country Coordinator and other relevant stakeholders
∎ Others:
∎ Assist to/prepare presentation of the concerned project and of the organization
∎ Contribute in Preparing Donor Report and Taking Lead to Prepare Report for NGO Affairs Bureau.
∎ Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, Six Monthly, Annual and Other Report (EC Report, DC office Report)
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ 8 years plus experience with skill in writing reports in English, conduction/facilitating workshop, community consultations, meetings, FGD etc. Computer skill on MS word, excel power point, internet. Experience of using Modern technologies and social media as medium of communication.
∎ The candidate must have good skill in spoken English, Presentation and Facilitation.
∎ Sensitivity and respect towards gender, Caste, creed, ethnicity and the ability to communicate effectively at various levels.
∎ Minimum 5 Years' Experience of Working with Right Based Organization.
∎ Experiences of working with Community Women, Youth, and Indigenous People.
∎ Training on MEL from any reputed Institutions or Organization and working experiences with USAID and/or US Department of State Project will be considered as an advantage.
∎ Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicant should have experience in the area of NGO Sector and M&E.
∎ Good understanding of LFA, TOC and M&E framework and plan.
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skill.
∎ Experience of Result Base Monitoring.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ We offer an enabling and supportive work environment; competitive compensation and total benefit package for the position of Program Officer will be between Tk. 70,000 to Tk.75,000 per month and fringe benefit for all position as per project budget provision. Six month probationary period is compulsory for all positions.
