Educational Requirements:
∎ S/he must have at least a Masters in social science or similar related discipline from any recognized university with minimum second class and at least one 1st Class/Division
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Advocacy with Relevant Ministry, Department and Offices (Ministry of Land, Ministry of Law and Ministry of Women and Children Affair);
∎ Regular Communication with partners and networking with like-minded Organization;
∎ Prepare year, quarter and month wise operational plan with the assistance of concerned person;
∎ Organize meetings, trainings and orientations at local and national level;
∎ Organize seminar/workshop/roundtable at local and national level;
∎ Maintain communication with media and prepare press release;
∎ Regular visit to partners and working areas, provide feedback to concerned project and prepare and submit monitoring report;
∎ Prepare event reports;
∎ Tracking progress of indicators and activities compare to operational targets;
∎ Contribute in preparing donor report, report for NGO Affairs Bureau and other report of the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ 8 years plus experience in advocacy and networking in NGOs;
∎ Having fluency in English speaking, accuracy in listening and skill writing high quality reports in both English and Bengali;
∎ Skilled in conduction/facilitating workshop, meetings, power point presentation and organizational representing and commitment with key responsibility is a prerequisite for the position;
∎ Sensitivity towards gender, and the ability to communicate effectively at various levels;
∎ Experience of Working at Right Based Organization;
∎ Experiences of working with partners, CBOs, community women and youth;
∎ Experiences with traditional community leaders and indigenous peoples;
∎ Skilled in using communication platform like zoom, team, social media, web-site etc;
∎ Working Experiences with USAID Project fund will be given preference.
∎ The applicant should have experience in the area of NGO Sector and M&E;
∎ Good understanding of LFA, TOC and M&E framework and plan;
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skill;
∎ Experience of Result Base Monitoring will be given preference;
Salary:
∎ We offer an enabling and supportive work environment; competitive compensation and total benefit package for the position of Programme Officer will be between Tk. 70,000 to Tk.75,000 per month and fringe benefit for all position as per project budget provision. Six month probationary period is compulsory for all positions.
