∎ Post Graduate degree in Disaster Management/Climate Change, development studies, Environmental Science/Engineering, Water Resource Management/Engineering, Social Science or other related discipline. Experience in working with Local Government Institutions.

Job Context:
∎ Award of job under this recruitment is subject to securing fund from respective donor
∎ Location: Kurigram under Rangpur Division /Jamalpur under Mymensingh Division
∎ Duration: Duration of the Contract will be for (01) one year

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 10 years of experience with 5 years' experience in capacity building related to community based disaster risk reduction, climate change, early warning and relevant programmes. At least 3 years of experience in leading team.
∎ Knowledge in gender, youth and children focused approach to development, DRR and resilience.
∎ Experience working in climate change or DRR program is desirable.
∎ Experience in working in flood preparedness.
∎ Experience in in community mobilization and organizing learning sharing events involving community, practitioners and researchers and policy makers.
∎ Gender awareness and a commitment to gender equality.
∎ Experience in maintaining stakeholder relations with local government, administration and civil society.
∎ Good communication, report writing and presentation skill in Bangla and English.
∎ Good interpersonal and team management skills.
∎ Computer skills on computer software e. g MS office, internet.
