Job Context:
∎ Association for Community Development (ACD) has been implementing a Tobacco Control Programme with the support from the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids(CTFK) on year to contractual arrangement. The organization is looking for a suitable candidate for Program Manager position for the project titled `Sustainable Implementation of Tobacco Control Law in Rajshahi and Rangpur Division`. The Program Manager is the key responsible person for implementing of the assigned project and it is a managerial position with strong leadership, management, coordination, and reporting skills. S/he will have to support project staffs in achieving project goal and objectives in timely manner with quality. The incumbent is responsible to provide strategic directions and keep close contact with ACD to ensure smooth implementation of the project.
∎ Job Location: Rajshahi/Rangpur

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure on time Planning, Management, implementation of the Tobacco Control Programme in Rajshahi and Rangpur division following the project Proposal and implementation guideline.
∎ Ensure proper implementation of the planned activities following the work plan.
∎ Ensure quality project implementation and documentation as per project plan, organization and donor requirement.
∎ Conduct baseline, evidence /situation data collection, Data analysis and facts sheet development with the Technical support from CTFK team as appropriate.
∎ Arrange dissemination events, make public presentation the on the current situation and recommended action.
∎ Represent the program in meetings, workshops, seminars with stakeholders for effective dialogue and advocacy at divisional and district level.
∎ Provide leadership, support to project team and different stakeholders in project implementation.
∎ Maintain liaison with government departments, local administration, public representatives, civil society and other stakeholders.
∎ Develop and implement communications strategies in collaboration with project team and the relevant government department for successful implementation of this TC initiative.
∎ Institutionalize the implementation of tobacco control law at local administration, local government and educational institutes in Rajshahi and Rangpur division.
∎ Develop and implement strategies to increase the engagement of leading media for supporting the goals and communications objectives of this initiative.
∎ Supervise project staff members assigned to the Project and their daily performance as per work schedule and operation plan.
∎ Support the on time logistic and project materials for the implementation of the project.
∎ Liaison with the relevant department of the organization for finance and administrative of the ACD.
∎ Ensure proper utilization of project resources, budget and other materials as planned and ensure value for money,

Additional Requirements:
∎ Five years working experience in coordination and program implementation at tobacco control field i.e. advocacy at national and sub national level with policy maker, authority of public places, local government, educational institute and public transports for implementation of Tobacco Control Law.
∎ Supervision, budget, program and expenditure monitoring.
∎ Experience in networking, advocacy, and community mobilization.
∎ Knowledge and experience on program planning, activities and project cycle.
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English and Bengali.
∎ Consultative and collaborative approach to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
∎ Strong knowledge on Microsoft Office specially Office, Excel, Power Point, etc.
∎ Conscientious and efficient in meeting commitments, observing deadlines and achieving results.
∎ Ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholder and project beneficiaries.
∎ Motorcycle driving skill with knowledge on safety measures and valid license.

Salary: Tk. 45000 - 50000 (Monthly)
