  • Strong ability to work in a team and be supportive to others’ efforts and work.

  • Consultative and collaborative approach to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

Association for Community Development (ACD) is looking for a dynamic Accounts and Admin Officer to supervise all aspects of finance and accounting function of a project titled ‘Fostering Resilience and Community Engagement for Internal Migrant Workers and families’.

Employment Status Contractual – Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial plan/projection of the project and submit cash call/requisition to counterpart.
  • Preserve all documents related to project financial issues including bill-voucher, cash-ledger books, files, register, reports and other documents.
  • Orient the project team on financial policy, mandatories and compliances for quality financial management.
  • Ensure timely deposit of VAT/Tax to the government treasury and prepare report.
  • Follow IAS and BAS Accounting system in project accounts operation.
  • Ensure that purchases/procurements have been processed following policy and compliances properly, before payment.
  • Prepare financial report of the project and submit to counterpart through proper channel.
  • Follow organizational instruments (financial manual, human resource policy, cost sharing policy, etc.) and donor guidelines.
  • Prepare draft of management response upon audit observation and submit to organizational management through immediate supervisor.
  • Prepare FD 6/ FD 2/NGOAB or local level clearance certificate/approval.
  • Maintain personal file of the project staffs, leave and other registers.
  • Maintain store and stocks of different goods under the project.
  • Participate in staff coordination meeting, share financial plan, progress, backlogs and plan accordingly.
  • Visit to project field and monitoring visits.
  • Assist the project team in new staff recruitment, induction and carry out necessary tasks during staff separation, if any.
  • Keep regular coordination with project team and senior management team regarding programmatic, financial and human resource management issues.
  • Ensure the quality and impact of the program is addressed.
