Education:
    • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting
    • Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting

 CA (CC), Certificate Level Completed.

Responsibilities & Context:

1. Preparation and finalization of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual basis.

2. Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, Tax regulations, Companies Act, and internal company policies for all accounting transactions.

3. Assist in the preparation and submission of documents for Internal Audit, External Audit, Tax Audit, VAT filings, and RGSC returns.

4. Perform monthly and annual reconciliation of all inter-company transactions.

5. Review and monitor employee and vendor advances, ensuring timely settlement within approved credit periods.

6. Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

7. Supervise and maintain accurate records of Fixed Assets, Inventory, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.

8. Support management with profitability analysis, product pricing, project costing, budgeting, and MIS reporting.

9. Conduct cost analysis and feasibility studies for existing and proposed projects.

10. Establish and maintain strong internal controls to prevent errors and fraud in billing and payment processes.

11. Prepare and analyze accounting data for Internal Audit, External Audit, and Tax Audit (including assessments under Section 147).

12. Prepare projected financial statements and financial analysis to support bank loan and financing requirements.

13. Design and implement an inventory control system, including determination of maximum, minimum, and re-order stock levels, and ongoing stock monitoring.
