Working Location: Pragati Sarani Main Road, Baridhara, Block-J, Gulshan, Dhaka-1212, Bangladesh.
Job Description / Responsibility:
Ensuring transactions are recorded properly in accordance with accounting standards and applicable laws and regulations.
Monitoring Tax and VAT (TDS, VDS, and VAT Return, withholding return & annual Return)
Analysis of Accounts Receivable account, Accounts Payable account, inventory, General ledger account, cost accounting, and option analysis, and conducting project feasibility and variance analysis.
Ensure proper control and reporting on current and non-current assets, including risk management.
Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (income statement, balance sheet and cash flow).
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, International Financial Reporting Standards, tax, VAT, and the Companies Act, and other relevant financial regulations.
Coordinate and direct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; provide insights and recommendations to management.
Establish, monitor, and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.
Track cash flow, manage expenses, and implement strategies to maintain financial stability.
Supervise internal audits, liaise with external auditors, and support the preparation of audited financial statements, tax, VAT, and audit documentation.
Prepare detailed internal reports, explain significant variances, and provide ad hoc financial analysis for management and investors.
Support system upgrades and implement new software for financial reporting and efficiency.
Research balance sheet items, income/expense fluctuations, and correct reporting inconsistencies.
Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to ensure reporting accuracy and transparency.
