Job Context:
Solus Corporation is looking for an experienced and capable Head of Accounts to lead and oversee the company's accounting and financial operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing effective internal controls, maintaining regulatory compliance, managing funds, controlling costs, and promoting overall financial discipline.
The position requires a hands-on professional who can independently manage the Accounts & Finance Department and provide timely financial information and analysis to management for effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter, maintain, and verify financial information in appropriate accounting software.
Independently manage and oversee all affairs of the Accounts & Finance Department.
Manage inventory accounting and conduct regular stock reconciliation.
Prepare Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and other financial statements.
Perform inter-company transaction reconciliation and follow up on factory-related financial transactions.
Manage company funds, banking activities, investments, and cash flow.
Conduct business planning, financial analysis, new project viability analysis, and cost-control activities.
Manage company assets and ensure proper accounting and documentation.
Determine accurate product costing and conduct production cost analysis.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly, and management-required financial reports.
Prepare bank reconciliation statements and calculate bank interest and other financial charges.
Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, ensuring proper posting in Tally.
Monitor financial controls, identify financial risks, and recommend corrective measures.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management whenever required.
