Experience:
Strong knowledge of Accounts, Finance, Costing, Budgeting and Financial Reporting.
Proven experience in Inventory Management, Stock Reconciliation and Warehouse Control.
Good knowledge of VAT & Tax regulations in Bangladesh.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Accounting/ERP Software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to lead and supervise the Accounts, Finance & Inventory team.
Must be honest, responsible, detail-oriented and capable of working under pressure.
Experience in Agro/Farming/Feed/Food Processing business will be an added advantage.
. Financial Planning and Management
i.Develop and oversee the farm’s financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
ii.Create financial plans aligned with farm production cycles, market conditions, and operational needs.
iii.Manage and monitor the financial health of the farm by analyzing revenue, costs, and profitability.
iv.Assist management in making strategic decisions based on financial analysis.
v.Maintain accounts according to SBU’s.
2. Accounting and Bookkeeping
i.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including sales, purchases, payroll, and operational expenses.
ii.Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
iii.Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
3. Cost and Revenue Analysis
i.Track the cost of production for livestock, Agriculture, identifying areas for cost optimization.
ii.Conduct break-even and profitability analysis for various farm products and operations.
4. Budgeting and Expense Management
i.Monitor budget adherence and recommend adjustments as necessary.
ii.Analyze and report on variances between actual and budgeted performance.
5. Tax and Regulatory Compliance
i.Ensure compliance with agricultural, financial, and tax regulations.
ii.Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT or other applicable taxes, for farm operations.
iii.Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies as needed.
6. Investment and Funding Management
i.Manage farm loans, grants, or subsidies, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
ii.Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities in equipment, technology, or additional farm operations.
iii.Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and lenders.
7. Risk Management
i.Identify financial risks related to market volatility, operational inefficiencies, or natural disasters.
8. Inventory Management
i.Ensure that all inventory is properly managed by inventory team.
ii.Check inventory records of all farm items related to:
Livestock (Cow, Chicks, duck, Buffalo, Garol, Goat, and Camel)
Livestock feed
Agriculture: Fruits, Flower, Vegetable, Pesticides, fertilizer.
Others: Vaccine, Medicine, Tools Item, Office Stationary, Fuel, Cleaning items & Engineering Items.
iii. Provide training to team members on proper inventory handling and documentation.
iv.Work closely with farm staff to track daily usage of inventory and update records.
9. Report
i.Responsible for overseeing and monitoring the performance and operations of all Inventory team members to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards.
ii.Prepare previous month report and submit by the 5th of the current month (Accounts, Inventory)
