∎ This is a 12-month assignment (renewable), depending on the candidate`s availability, and Program budget. The person in this role will be based in Cox`s Bazar with regular trips to the refugee camps and to Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate the development of high-quality funding applications/proposals. This includes assembling bid development teams, establishing timeframes, organize and integrate technical inputs, write and edit to ensure the timely submission of competitive concept notes and proposals.
∎ Facilitate the contracting process, including signing of agreements with the donor or CMP as relevant. This involves close coordination with CARE's Dhaka office.
∎ Ensure the submission of quality donor reports according to the agreed timeframes on the contract.
∎ All funding submissions are expected to be coordinated in an inclusive format, and completed in a timely and high-quality fashion.
∎ Track live opportunities and provide internal monthly updates of the latest funding opportunities.
∎ Follow CARE's procedure to assess risk and ensure that projects are strategic for CARE Bangladesh - High-quality donor reports submitted on time.
∎ Deal with donor communications immediately and swiftly, and ensure that donors/embassies receive regular updates from CARE.
∎ Maintain Resource Mobilization Strategy maintained and utilize the strategy to guide donor engagement
∎ Coordinate Communication- collate, edit and finalize information to be shared across the CARE network, including formal updates and ad hoc requests.
∎ Represent the response program internally within CARE Bangladesh, across CARE and in consortia with other agencies.
∎ Throughout work, build team capacity to improve the efficiency of proposal development, donor negotiation, and grant & contract management.
