Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters level academic degree preferably in Disaster Management, information management or any other relevant subject.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 8 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Location: Based in CARE Bangladesh Dhaka Office.
∎ Duration: Duration of the Contract will be for (01) One year

Additional Requirements:
∎ 7 to 8 years' experience in multi-sectoral emergency projects and active engagement in emergency needs assessments (preferably knowledge of JNA/MIRA/PDNA).
∎ Good conceptual understanding of humanitarian strategies and approaches including national Cluster and working group mechanism.
∎ Strong project cycle management skills, especially in humanitarian response project management
∎ Previous experience of working in UN/INGOs/NGOs.
∎ Sound knowledge of donor policies and procedures and experience of working on DFID funded projects.
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, coordination and management skills.
∎ Demonstrated administrative, financial, and personnel management capacities.
∎ Operational skills of map preparation, data analysis and data visualization.
∎ Proven writing, knowledge management and documentation skills.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Should have good understanding of MS Office applications.
∎ Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
∎ Pro-active and participatory decision-making and problem-solving.
∎ Stress tolerance and positive coping strategies.
∎ Ability to work under tight timelines and emergency situations
∎ Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse organization.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel away from home and stay in the field with a short notice.
∎ Ensure and Promote GEDI and be GEDI sensitive, creating an enabling environment where diversity can flourish and all staff and stakeholders experience inclusion and appreciation.
