Projects strategic Planning & Implementation - 30%

• Project Planning: Take the lead in planning and implementing projects under the CCA & DRR program. This includes defining project scope, objectives, and strategies to meet both donor and organizational requirements.
• Coordination: Work with various stakeholders, including community leaders, NGOs, government bodies, and field offices, to ensure smooth execution of project activities. Ensure participatory planning for the selection of city wards and villages, technical surveys, and beneficiary selection.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure that all CCA & DRR projects are implemented according to Islamic Relief Bangladesh's standards and donor requirements, maintaining high-quality and timely execution of project deliverables.
• Leadership & Oversight: Provide strategic direction to project teams and field staff, ensuring that work plans and implementation guidelines are properly adhered to. Offer mentorship and capacity-building support to staff, particularly in disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation.
• Workshops & Training: Organize training sessions, capacity-building workshops, and awareness-raising campaigns to improve knowledge and understanding of CCA & DRR among stakeholders.
• Budget & Financial Management: Oversee and manage the project budget, ensuring responsible spending in line with project objectives. Conduct monthly financial analyses, prepare budget reports, and liaise with the finance team to ensure transparency and accountability.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting - 10%

• Performance Monitoring: Develop project performance indicators to track progress towards objectives and ensure that initiatives are mission-driven and result-oriented.
• Field Monitoring: Conduct regular field visits to assess the implementation of project activities, troubleshoot challenges, and gather feedback from stakeholders. Analyse field data to generate insights that enhance the effectiveness of project interventions.
• Report Preparation: Draft weekly, monthly, quarterly, and final project reports for internal use and for donors. These reports should include a detailed analysis of project progress, challenges, and solutions, as well as financial updates.
• Dissemination of Reports: Ensure that project reports are shared with relevant stakeholders and departments on time. Encourage feedback and collaboration to address issues and improve project delivery.

Advocacy, Communication, and Networking - 25%

• Advocacy Campaigns: Lead the design and implementation of advocacy campaigns at the national, regional, and local levels. Focus on promoting DRR and climate change adaptation strategies that align with the national agenda and international frameworks.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage with government ministries, NGOs, community organizations, INGOs, and private sector partners to promote collaboration and shared goals in CCA & DRR.
• Representation: Represent Islamic Relief Bangladesh in forums, workshops, and networks focused on climate change adaptation, disaster resilience, and policy advocacy. Ensure that Islamic Relief’s work and impact are highlighted at national and international platforms.
• Partnership Development: Foster relationships with key stakeholders and partners, both governmental and non-governmental, to ensure coordination and successful advocacy. Strengthen connections with national and regional networks to expand the reach and impact of Islamic Relief’s programs.

Team and Staff Development - 5%

• Capacity Building: Identify training needs for project staff and ensure that they receive the necessary training and mentorship to enhance their capacity in CCA & DRR programming.
• Team Leadership: Foster a team-oriented environment by promoting collaboration and regular communication between field staff, project managers, and other departments.
• Staff Performance: Lead regular team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions. Address challenges faced by the staff and encourage professional development through training and learning opportunities.

Field Office and Partnership Management -10%

• Field Coordination: Effectively coordinate field office activities to ensure that all operational and administrative functions run smoothly.
• Partnership Building: Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, local authorities, and other stakeholders in field offices to ensure effective project implementation.

Program Development & Fundraising - 10%

• Strategic Program Development: Assist in the development of long-term CCA & DRR strategies and program proposals. Contribute to program design and identify funding opportunities for new interventions.
• Donor Engagement: support to senior management Liaise with donors to provide updates on project progress and funding needs. Ensure that project proposals and reports align with donor requirements and expectations.

Complaint Response Mechanism (CRM) and Feedback System - 5%

• CRM Implementation: Ensure the effective implementation of the Complaint Response Mechanism (CRM) across all stages of the project. Maintain proper documentation of complaints and feedback from beneficiaries.

Efficient Use of Resources -5%

• Asset Management: Ensure that all project resources and assets are used efficiently and transparently. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with Islamic Relief Bangladesh’s financial policies.
