Job Context:
∎ Based in CARE-Bangladesh Dhaka Office with approximately 10% time travel in field.
∎ Initially this Contract will be up to Six months from the date of joining with a high possibility of extension.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 1 to 2 years' practical experience working in development field with NGO
∎ Proven experience of high quality report writing
∎ Fluent in English, both verbal and written
∎ Familiar with the project management cycle
∎ Ability to act as part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team
∎ Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.
∎ Ability to organize and prioritize workload, using initiative when appropriate
∎ Ability to cope with stress, work under pressure often to strict deadlines
∎ Flexibility, adaptability, sense of humour, and patience
∎ Facilitation and interpersonal skills
∎ Analytical and problem solving skills
∎ Methodical and thorough
∎ Cross cultural awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences, having full alignment with organizational values
∎ Good knowledge and competence of computer applications i.e. Microsoft Office Professional
∎ Good interpersonal, communications and team building skills.
∎ Commitment to CARE's vision, mission and values.
∎ Ability to translate and convey sophisticated, sometimes sensitive, information to target audiences.
∎ Demonstrable sound business judgment when determining what to communicate, when to communicate, and how to communicate.
∎ Ensure and Promote GEDI and be GEDI sensitive, creating an enabling environment where diversity can flourish and all staff and stakeholders experience inclusion and appreciation.
