Job Context:
∎ To assure the delivery of a consistent standard of quality that meets the customer`s fashion, quality and safety expectations at all times, and to ensure "Best Value for Money".
∎ To apply best market practice and knowledge in terms of procedures within the supply chain in order to control, assess and monitor the standards of C&A product.
∎ To maintain the level of quality of C&A product in-line.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Carry out factory assessments for production.
∎ Control the factory assessments process.
∎ Participate and provide advice via his/her own input in pre-production meetings where issues such as pre-production planning, assessment of suitable cutting/sewing lines including machinery inventory, and approval of pre-production samples (trigger for starting bulk production) are tabled, assessed and agreed.
∎ Responsible for in-line production support procedure, and advice on production techniques plus statistical in-line production control throughout the production process.
∎ Supervision and monitoring of QCC1 and QCC1 Zero final garment inspection and delivery preparation including suitable packing methods to ensure optimal use of cartons and best transport conditions per garment.
∎ Be aware of LDD order deliveries, monitor carefully and call out where dates are not achievable.
∎ Communication with and information to SPM / merchandisers on all pertinent production issues.
∎ Communication with Supplier/PU management teams on key quality issues to raise awareness and seek resolution.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years practical experience in clothing production planning, techniques, and quality control including costing knowledge of factory assessment, patterns a grading, production techniques and in-line and final garment quality control.
