∎ 7 to 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analysing risks together with fabric team and supplier teams for all confirmed styles and ensure risky styles are taken care of on priority in factories by pushing suppliers to ensure proper testing's are submitted for risky styles under OI testing criteria.
∎ Frequently checking QC files are well updated in factory for each season, also checking sealed samples are properly given as per merchandising requirements and if anything, incorrect then informing OI Merchandising timely Monthly production planning with supplier and daily production reports are submitted to merchandising team of OI and follow up with factory to improve productivity and KPI
∎ Weekly production status reports analysis and control improper plans, visit critical suppliers. Follow up on missing information, up to date submission dates, planning with factory to ensure timely deliveries.
∎ Trims status follow up and ensure risk analysis comments are incorporated before bulk cutting in factory for risky initial styles.
∎ Ensure all production related issues in the factory are communicated timely basis to OI merchandising team / Detect faults and recommend corrective action by checking the operations of factories, discussing and solving the problems with the manager, in order to improve the product punctuality and lead-time .
∎ Claim related emails /claim settlements with customer = production merchandiser will co-ordinate with OI merchandiser and vendor on any claim related issues but final settlement mail to customer by merchandiser / Coordinate between merchandising, production & planning teams in factory to ensure that the requirement of the buyers are met, in order to ensure a timely delivery of goods but do not compromise on quality.
∎ Continuously develop own competencies & skills in relevant areas, in order to enhance service quality and support personal development

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7-8 years' relevant experience in dealing with Multi products : Woven and knits preferably in all types of garments
∎ Experience in both factory, as well as buying office, will be preferred.
∎ Good understanding of manufacturing process in garment field and a solid production knowledge.
∎ Willing to travel to factories and is solution oriented.
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Experience working in factories, responsible for Production merchandising and production follow up, coordinating with all departments, including merchandising, production and planning. Supporting the merchandising teams to ensure timely delivery of goods, improving leadtimes.
∎ Knowledge of basic computer handling, including Microsoft outlook, Word and Excel
∎ Good command of English (both written and spoken)
