Minimum 10–15 years of experience in woven garment washing (export-oriented factories).

Prior experience in a washing factory is mandatory.

- Strong expertise in washing chemicals, garment behavior, and machine operations.

- Proven ability to develop samples quickly and accurately.

- Capable of independent planning and decision-making.

- Well-versed in buyer requirements, wash standards, and lab testing protocols.

- Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.

-Good analytical and problem-solving skills, Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and production analysis tools,

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills in Bengali and English.

Job Summary

Colour Creation, a 100% export-oriented washing plant, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager (Washing Plant). The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of garment washing processes, chemicals, and machinery, with proven expertise in managing washing plant operations for export-oriented woven garments.

Key Responsibilities

    1. Washing Process Management

• Plan and execute washing operations for woven garments (denim, twill, canvas, poplin, etc.).

·         Ensure proper application of enzyme, stone, acid, bleach, pigment, softener, and reactive washes.

·         Monitor and optimize chemical dosage, temperature, pH, liquor ratio, and machine parameters to achieve consistent wash effects.

·         2. Chemical Handling & Recipe Development

·         Develop precise wash recipes aligned with buyer specifications and fabric properties.

·         Ensure safe handling, storage, and usage of all washing chemicals.

·         Collaborate with suppliers to test and implement innovative formulations.

·         3. Sample Development

·         Develop wash samples as per buyer tech packs, swatches, and visual references.

·         Ensure accuracy in shade, texture, hand feel, and garment quality.

·         Maintain systematic sample records and coordinate with Merchandising teams.

·         4. Production Planning & Execution

·         Independently prepare daily, weekly, and order-based production plans.

·         Allocate manpower, machine capacity, and resources effectively.

·         Monitor production output, quality, and rejection rates; take corrective measures proactively.

·         5. Quality & Compliance

·         Ensure all washing processes strictly follow buyer standards and compliance requirements.

·         Oversee effluent treatment protocols and environmental sustainability practices.

·         Conduct in-line and final inspections to maintain consistent quality.

·         6. Team Leadership & Development

·         Lead, supervise, and train washing plant operators, helpers, and sample developers.

·         Promote a disciplined, safe, and efficient work culture with a focus on continuous improvement.
