∎ Applicants having minimum 10 years of experience at senior managerial level in the garments trade, Applicants with international experience and exposure will be preferred. This position is open to both Bangladeshi nationals and expatriates, with the right credentials.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Summary of Key Functions:
∎ Lead the Production and Quality Team within the assigned regions. Be accountable for the implementation and adaptation of uniform quality processes to meet business deliverables whilst maintaining the C&A brand through our quality and safety standards. Manage, in collaboration with supplier, the right technical design/fit and excellent production outcome within consumer cycle (end-to-end) under consideration of all applicable Quality Standards to be legally compliant.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ · Lead, coach, and develop regional cross-country teams to ensure high performance and succession planning.
∎ · Evaluate new suppliers for factory quality setup, product capability, and production capacity, while monitoring their development to meet objectives.
∎ · Set quality direction and enhance the team's technical skills to enable problem-solving capabilities.
∎ · Provide expert input for new product development, considering best practices and market trends to meet deliverables.
∎ · Define engineering manufacturing standards and defect codes for a globally aligned working approach.
∎ · Train the supply chain to ensure samples and production are correct the first time, enhancing efficiency.
∎ · Implement Quality Management Systems (QMS) in the hub region, ensuring global alignment and collaboration with peers.

∎ Functional Competencies:
∎ · Extensive knowledge of garment and pattern construction, textiles, sewing techniques, and manufacturing processes, ensuring high product quality and safety.
∎ · Strong understanding of stakeholder management, laboratory test requirements, and European market regulations.
∎ · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in presentation and negotiation.
∎ · Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities, fostering critical thinking in others while maintaining strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
∎ · Fluent in English, with advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and PDM/PLM systems; additional language proficiency is a plus.
∎ · Strong leadership qualities with a positive, energetic personality, capable of motivating and enabling a collaborative team environment.
∎ · Adaptable and self-aware, with a growth mindset, strong decision-making abilities, and a customer-focused approach to optimizing quality processes.
