Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Follow up on samples as per buyer comments, technical packs, and instructions.
∎ Monitor all sample section activities from development to final sample dispatch.
∎ Communicate effectively with the design team to ensure proper execution of styles.
∎ Maintain accurate documentation and records related to sample development.
∎ Work closely with merchandising, production, and quality departments to ensure smooth sample execution.
∎ Assist in innovation and development of new fabrics, trims, and garment styles based on market and buyer trends.
∎ Manage the end-to-end product development cycle, from concept to final sample dispatch.
∎ Analyze buyer tech packs, comments, and market trends to initiate product ideas.
∎ Coordinate with design, sample, knitting, dyeing, embroidery, printing, and trim teams to ensure timely development.
∎ Ensure accurate and efficient sample execution based on buyer standards and timelines.
∎ Work closely with the merchandising and production teams for smooth handover and pre-production approvals.
∎ Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, buyers, and internal stakeholders.
∎ Take initiative in developing new fabrics, trims, garment features, and construction techniques.
∎ Monitor sample tracking and maintain all relevant documentation and records.
