Responsibilities & Context:
  • Set competitive pricing strategies balancing consumer value and profitability.
  • Conduct cost analysis and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Work with finance to track category P&L performance.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive category sales and brand equity.
  • Develop trade marketing plans to support channel partners and retail visibility.
  • Monitor campaign ROI and optimize marketing spend.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to set sales targets and growth strategies for the category.
  • Provide product training and promotional materials for sales teams and distributors.
  • Monitor retail execution and merchandising compliance.
  • Analyze consumer behavior, preferences, and feedback to enhance product relevance.
  • Track competitor launches, campaigns, and pricing strategies.
  • Maintain a pulse on seasonal demand fluctuations and regional preferences.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Creativity in product innovation and marketing concepts.
  • Data-driven decision-making approach.
  • Understanding of FMCG, especially frozen food/ice cream category dynamics.
