Responsibilities & Context:

Nagorik Architecture & Construction is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our Supply Chain Management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with experience in purchasing interior goods being a significant advantage. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, a keen eye for quality, and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers/vendors for construction and interior goods. 

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness. 

  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and project requirements. 

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid project delays. 

  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and reliability. 

  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and stay updated on market trends. 

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations. 

  • Collaborate with project managers and other departments to understand procurement needs. 

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory. Resolve any issues related to procurement, such as delays or quality discrepancies.
