Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Procurement Management: Manage procurement of diverse items, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition.
∎ Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conducting regular visits to assess quality and negotiate terms.
∎ Contract Negotiations: Secure favorable terms and conditions in contracts with suppliers.
∎ Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and availability of key items.
∎ Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured items meet our quality standards, working with the quality control team.
∎ Budget Management: Monitor and manage the procurement budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
∎ Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on procurement activities.
∎ Frontier Pet Foods Limited is a 100% export-oriented pet food manufacturer committed to producing high-quality products such as bully sticks, beef tripes, chicken feet, and more. As a trading company, we also procure and resell various items for profit.
∎ Position Overview:
∎ We are seeking a skilled Procurement Executive with at least 5 years of experience in procurement. Experience with food items is a plus. This role involves extensive travel across Bangladesh to source various products, negotiate contracts, and maintain supplier relationships.
